1. Agreement to Terms
By using lcn254.site or engaging LCN254 for a website, you agree to these terms. LCN254 is a web design and development agency based in Nairobi, Kenya — reach us at contact@lcn254.site.
2. Services We Provide
We design, build, and deploy websites for businesses and individuals, using either our template library as a starting point or a fully custom build. Specific deliverables, timelines, and pricing for any project are agreed in writing (email or signed quote) before work begins — the pricing shown on this site is a starting reference, not a binding quote until confirmed for your specific project.
3. Quotes, Payment & Cancellation
Project pricing is scoped individually. Where a deposit is required to begin work, that deposit is non-refundable once design or development work has started, unless we fail to deliver what was agreed. Either party may cancel a project in writing before work begins with no charge; cancellation after work has started is billed for work completed to that point.
4. What You Own
Once a project is paid in full and delivered, the resulting website code and content are yours. We don't hold your site hostage behind a proprietary CMS or ongoing licence fee. Stock assets, fonts, or third-party libraries used in the build remain subject to their own original licences.
5. Template Demos
The businesses shown on our template demo pages (e.g. "Ember & Co.", "Hotel Marlow") are fictional examples built to showcase design and functionality — they do not represent real businesses, and any resemblance to an actual business is coincidental.
6. Acceptable Use of This Site
You may not use lcn254.site to transmit malicious code, attempt to access data that isn't yours, scrape the site at a rate that degrades service for others, or use any content from this site to misrepresent your business as LCN254 or as an LCN254 client without our agreement.
7. Limitation of Liability
We build sites to a professional standard and test across common devices and browsers before handover, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted uptime for third-party hosting, payment processors (M-Pesa, Stripe, PayPal), or APIs your site depends on — those are governed by their own providers' terms.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms as our services evolve. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised terms. Material changes affecting an active project will be communicated directly.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Any dispute arising from these terms or a project engagement will first be handled through direct good-faith discussion between the parties.
